Nice, France

Steve's favorite thing in Italy: Gelato. Next was the pasta.

We drove through Monaco on our way into Italy (Monaco is the world's most densely populated country and second-smallest independent nation; with a population of just 32,410 and an area of 1.96 square kilometers) Steve has loved this little country ever since he was a kid and would memorize facts about contries around the world, with this country being so small it fascinated him, and now we got to see it! The kings castle and all.

Our drive from Nice, France into Italy was breathtaking. It felt like we were on top of the world. The pictures don't do it justice. We were so high up and could see for miles around.

We got really good at taking pictures of ourselves, streching our arms out as far as they can go and hoping for the best!

Streets of Nice.

The Mediterranean seashore. It was beautiful and was made of rocks, not sand.

How did the Gelato compared to our favorite Gelato place here?
