We've really enjoyed watching his games each week as a family. Sadly, this week will be the last for the season, but he'll start basketball in a few weeks before playing soccer again in the spring. We really need to work on his after-goal celebrations.

He has a good, strong kick (and good accuracy). I am amazed that he can boot it from so far away and it makes it in the mini goals. U.S. World Cup here he comes!

Catie, thanks for your post below-- the one about the friend you met in the hospital. It was so poignant-- you always remind me to find the joy in every day and I love you for that.
