The Latest

The past couple of weeks have been busy but pleasant. We've spent a lot of time together as a family just hanging out. My brother Andrew and sister-in-law Marianne were here last weekend with us. They came bearing gifts and as you can see David and Mary enjoyed trying on my new hats with me. You would never guess how warm your hair keeps you and how cold you get when there is a lack thereof !!

My radiation treatments began this past Monday so we are at the hospital at least once daily for that. Our little Sarah makes the trips so worth it though. Being able to hold her is the very best medicine. She is beautiful and we love her so much. She has been moved from the NICU to the TCN (transitional care unit) which means she is basically just growing and when she gets big enough and learns how to feed well enough from a bottle she can come home.

David and Mary continue to make my life happy. They say and do the cutest things. With David's emotional support Mary is learning to potty train! Since they both get treats when Mary goes to the potty, David is always asking her and prompting her--it is a great help. I love them both so much and am so very thankful for the children we have been blessed with.

Steve continues to be an amazing father and husband, doing so much more than he should have to. I'm thankful for him and love him so much.

I also wanted to say thanks to all you bloggers for all your fun fall posts. We haven't gotten to do as much fun halloween fall activites as I would have liked to this year, but it is so fun for me to see your posts and live vicariously for a few minutes. Happy Halloween to all!
